COMMON QUESTIONS.
How much is lunch for our team?
Boxes are $20 to $22 each, depending on the dish: chicken thigh skewers $20, pork belly $22, tofu dengaku $20, Japanese eggplant $22. The minimum is 10 boxes. Delivery is included anywhere in Marin County. Miso soup or a green salad can be added, and is priced in your quote.
What's in each box?
One dish of skewers grilled over binchotan, on koshihikari rice with marinated soft boiled egg, Persian cucumber salad, and Japanese potato salad. Everything is cooked in our kitchen and delivered ready to eat.
Can we mix dishes?
Yes. Tell us how many boxes of each dish you want, with at least 5 of any dish you choose. Each box is labeled with its dish so people can find theirs.
What about vegetarian guests and allergies?
Tofu dengaku and Japanese eggplant are the dishes without meat. Every dish is on our allergen sheet. Our food contains soy, sesame, wheat and dairy, and we cook in a kitchen that handles all major allergens, so tell us about severe allergies when you order.
How far ahead should we order?
Three to four weeks is ideal. We need your final count four days before the delivery, when we shop. Short notice? Ask anyway, and if we're free we'll make it work. We don't deliver on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day.
What time do you deliver?
Put the time lunch starts in your quote request. We confirm the delivery time with you a few days before. We need easy access for unloading and a table or counter for the boxes.
Can you feed a bigger group?
Yes. Up to 30 people, everyone gets a bento box. For more than 30, we bring the same food and set it out as a buffet.
How do we pay?
We reply within one business day with a quote, then email a Square invoice that you pay online. Your date is booked once it's paid. Cancellations 30 or more days out are refunded in full, 14 to 30 days out at 50%, and inside 14 days are non-refundable.
Where do you deliver?
We're based in San Rafael, and delivery is included anywhere in Marin County, including Novato, Larkspur, Corte Madera, Mill Valley, and Sausalito. San Francisco, Sonoma, and the East Bay are quoted per event.
Do you cater team parties too?
