We're a small food stand. We keep this simple.
What we collect
When you send an event inquiry, we receive your name, email, phone, event date, town, guest count, event type, the experience you're interested in, how you heard about us, and any notes you add. If you use a private dinner link we sent you, we also receive your menu choices. When you request a postpartum meal plan, we receive your name, email and phone, your due date or baby's birthday, the plan, portions and start date you pick, your town, whether it's a gift and who it's for, and any allergy, diet or health notes you share, like something your doctor has asked you to eat or avoid. When you join the meal delivery list, we receive your email and, if you share them, your first name, town, household size, the kinds of meals you'd like and any notes. For pop-up updates, we receive your email address only. The site itself doesn't set cookies for advertising.
How we use it
Event details are used to quote and plan your event and to prepare an invoice. Meal plan details, including anything about your pregnancy or health, are used only to plan, cook and deliver your meals. We never use them for marketing. Meal list details are used to decide where and when to start weekly delivery and to email you about it. Newsletter emails are used only to send occasional updates before a pop-up or market day. We use Vercel Analytics to count visits, and PostHog to see how people find and use the site. PostHog sets a first-party cookie to recognize return visits, and when you send an event inquiry or sign up for updates, it links your visits on this site to your email so we can see how you found us. Joining the meal delivery list doesn't: PostHog records the town, household size and kinds of meals you picked, without your email. Meal plan requests are different: PostHog records only the plan and portions you picked and whether it's a gift. It never gets your due date or health notes, and the meal form doesn't tell PostHog who you are.
Payments
We don't process payments through this site. After you submit a booking request, we send you an invoice through Square. Square handles your card details directly — your full card number never touches our servers. Square has its own privacy policy at squareup.com/legal/privacy.
Who else sees this
Square processes invoices and payments after a booking is confirmed. Resend sends our transactional and newsletter emails on our behalf, and keeps our newsletter and meal delivery lists. Meal plan requests reach our small team by email. Vercel hosts the site and provides visit counts. PostHog stores our site analytics. Our Favorites page links to products on Amazon, and we earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through those links. When you follow one, Amazon and other third parties may collect information from you directly and set or read cookies in your browser, under Amazon's privacy notice at amazon.com/privacy. We never sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.
Opting out
To be removed from pop-up updates or the meal delivery list, or to have your information deleted, including your analytics history and any meal plan details, reply to any email from us or write to hello@marinprovisions.com and we'll take care of it.
